ECCE 1105-Recipe Card Project
The Recipe Project is part of the Nutrition Project.
Students will collect a minimum of 10 recipes that could be used with children. The collection will include but not be limited to 2 breakfast, 2 snack, 2 lunch, 2 dinner, and 2 other. Recipes should be typed, double spaced in the class format, with step-by-step directions for preparation.
One recipe will be presented to the class as a child-friendly poster or Tri-Board with pictorial and symbolic directions. The others can be shared on notecards, a flip chart, or organizational item of choice, in a professional manner. All recipes should be nutritious, easy to prepare for snack/meal times, and fun for children. Try to find recipes that focus on child involvement.
